OCD support group for kids, teens, and parents

OCD Support Group for Kids, Teens, & Parents

Is OCD impacting your child’s or teen’s life? Are you looking for support and connection with others who understand? Our monthly OCD Support Group offers a safe and supportive space for kids, teens, and their parents to connect, share experiences, and learn coping strategies.

For Kids and Teens:

This group, facilitated by Dr. Steven Seay, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in OCD, provides a place for kids and teens to:

  • Connect with peers who understand the challenges of living with OCD.
  • Share experiences and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
  • Develop coping skills and strategies for managing OCD symptoms.
  • Reduce feelings of isolation and stigma.

For Parents:

While the kids and teens are meeting with Dr. Steven Seay, Ph.D., parents will meet with Sara Silva, JD, M.Ed. to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of OCD and its impact on families.
  • Learn practical strategies for supporting their child or teen.
  • Connect with other parents facing similar challenges.
  • Receive support and guidance from a therapist specializing in family dynamics related to OCD.

Meeting Details:

  • When: Monthly (day and time varies based on participant availability)
  • Where: In-person at our office in Palm Beach County, FL (conveniently located near Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Wellington)

Important Information:

  • This group is a support group, not a therapy group. It is designed to complement, not replace, individual therapy with a qualified mental health professional.
  • Confidentiality is highly valued within the group. We ask all members to respect the privacy of others and what is shared within the group.

We look forward to connecting with you!
