OCD Support Group for Adults
Are you struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and looking for a supportive community? Our monthly OCD support group offers a safe and understanding space for adults to connect with others who share similar experiences. This group provides an opportunity to share challenges, learn coping strategies, and find encouragement in a non-judgmental environment.
Meeting Details:
- When: 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM
- Where: This is a hybrid meeting, which means that you may join us in-person at our office in Palm Beach Gardens or continue to meet remotely via Zoom.
- Who: Adults (18+) with OCD residing in Florida, including Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County.
What to Expect:
This support group is a professionally led group facilitated by our staff. We focus on creating a supportive atmosphere where members can:
- Share their experiences with OCD without judgment.
- Learn from others’ coping strategies and insights.
- Discuss practical tips for managing OCD symptoms.
- Reduce feelings of isolation and stigma.
- Gain hope and encouragement on their recovery journey.
Important Information:
- This group is a support group, not a therapy group. It is designed to complement, not replace, individual therapy with a qualified mental health professional.
- Confidentiality is highly valued within the group. We ask all members to respect the privacy of others and what is shared within the group.
- While we welcome individuals from across Florida, please note that specific referrals for treatment providers may be limited to the tri-county area (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade).
